Caramel Apple Granola Pops (Printable Version)

Crisp apples coated in caramel and rolled in granola for a crunchy, sweet snack perfect for gatherings.

# Components:

→ Apples

01 - 4 medium Granny Smith apples

→ Caramel

02 - 1 cup soft caramels (about 28 pieces), unwrapped
03 - 2 tablespoons heavy cream

→ Granola Coating

04 - 1 1/2 cups granola
05 - 1/4 cup chopped roasted nuts (optional, such as pecans or almonds)

→ Extras

06 - 8 wooden popsicle sticks

# Preparation steps:

01 - Wash and thoroughly dry the apples. Halve each apple, then use a melon baller or spoon to remove the core. Insert a popsicle stick firmly into the flat side of each apple half.
02 - Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and have it ready for the assembled pops.
03 - In a small saucepan, combine the soft caramels and heavy cream. Heat gently over low, stirring continuously until the mixture is smooth and fully melted. Allow to cool slightly for 1 minute.
04 - Place the granola and chopped nuts, if using, in a shallow dish suitable for rolling the apple halves.
05 - Dip each apple half into the melted caramel, ensuring even coverage. Let excess caramel drip off before rolling the apple in granola, pressing gently to help the coating adhere.
06 - Place the finished apple pops on the prepared baking sheet. Refrigerate for 10–15 minutes until caramel is set.
07 - Serve chilled straight from the refrigerator or let stand at room temperature before enjoying.
