01 - In a small saucepan, combine the almond milk (or chosen milk), ground turmeric, ground ginger, ground cinnamon, ground black pepper, optional cardamom, and vanilla extract.
02 - Whisk the mixture thoroughly. Gently heat over medium heat, stirring frequently until steaming but not boiling, approximately 5 to 7 minutes.
03 - Remove the saucepan from the heat. Stir in the honey or maple syrup until completely dissolved.
04 - If desired, use a milk frother or an immersion blender to froth the mixture until it achieves a creamy and foamy consistency.
05 - Pour the golden milk latte into serving mugs. Dust with a pinch of cinnamon or turmeric if using the optional garnish. Serve immediately.
